Tooth Fillings
To treat a cavity, your dentist will first numb the region around the tooth to be filled using local anesthetic. The decaying region will then be removed using a drill or laser. After the decay is removed, the dentist will clean the cavity of bacteria and debris before filling it. After the filling is in place, your dentist will usually finish and polish it.

Root Canal Therapy
Root Canal Treatment (RCT) is a procedure to protect the calcified tissues of the tooth. When the pulp becomes infected or inflamed, the blood supply to the tooth may be lost, and the pulp may die. This infection/inflammation causes increased blood flow and pressure in the tooth, causing severe pain that can be relieved through Root Canal Treatment.
